The only time I made it down to South Padre Island (I had made it out to Brownsville in my youth, though), I had, I can’t say, the “pleasure” of walking on tar balls from the blown out Mexican rig down South. From my understanding, it was also Halliburton who fucked up the plug in that well as well.

I’m not gonna embed it because it’s in too many pieces (just like the Murrow building in OKC … ), but you can get it in one piece if you act quickly via the Rachael vidcast. And I’ll tell you what I remember about 4-19-95. My co-worker mentioned that he couldn’t understand what we were watching on TV, and I explained, “it’s always lying-type propaganda.” Of course I was correct about that.
I also came to the conclusion that death was the wrong punishment for McVeigh, as it would be his escape (from life in prison.) Obviously I was correct about that as well, since McVeigh certainly didn’t fear death. -
