“Sen. Larry Craig’s bathroom follies have been the butt of plenty of late night jokes, but he found some sympathy in primetime this week when William Shatner had his own run in with the law on an ABC drama.
Craig’s foibles — the Idaho Republican was charged with soliciting sex in a public restroom this summer — served as a plot line on the ABC legal drama, Boston Legal. Denny Crane, played by William Shatner, finds himself arrested after some miscommunication in a bathroom stall. … ”
