“Now that I’m in your radio” (is that like, Toby Keith I’m quoting?) (remember, I repair car stereos for a living)

This is dedicated to Sarah Palin, Representative Michelle Bachman, Ann Coulter, Laura Bush, and especially, Barbara Bush -

Well, he covered their version of ‘Must Be Santa’ from their incredible Christmas cd titled ‘It’s Christmas, Man!’. Sounds like he implemented Combo’s style rather perfectly -

A “demo” we made a few years ago … that’s me on vocals and bass.

I’ve worked with one or two involved in this project before (on this – http://www.thesequencers.us/samples/neverletgo.mp3 ), so of course I’m proud to present the title track from bogus breakfast’s incredible cd titled ‘let it ring’ -

“If you believed, they put a man on the Moon”

I decided that I should post something musical that I’ve done. But I still have no idea what it will be that I post … hang on whilst I figure this out …

OK, here’s what I came up with. My cover of Flash and the Pan’s ‘Savior Man’ -

It’s like been 40 years since ‘Tommy’ has been released. So here’s from the title (sorry about the poor audio quality, but it’s the video that’s very rare. Buy the cd and listen to the entire thing) -

This is the first President that I’ve lived with that’s actually younger than me. And co-incidentally I’ve got more faith in this President than any previous president in my life time.

This is a band I know from where I live. Although from Arkansas, their keyboardist/femalevocalist and their bass player live below me (“another man’s ceiling is another man’s floor” – Paul Simon), and they ran out of money whilst doing some studio recording.

So I imported what they had into my home “studio” (my computer) and recorded the female vocals on top of what they already had, tightened up the vocals to each other, did a little mixing (mainly turning up the bass a bit) and the above are rough mixes.

Check out their MySpace page from my blogroll.

Along with about 3 other Senate races, in “limbo” is the Minnesotta(sp?) race between Senator Norm Coleman and Al Franken. Last I heard that after millions of votes “recorded”, Al’s between 400 and 500 votes behind “anything but” Norm. :-)

Which automaticly forces the race into “Overtime” (a recount.)

(StanNote: In actuality, Al Franken is a moderate (but he does lean left.))

We aren’t in ‘Kansas’ anymore. ;-)
